Refund Policy

Last updated: June 24, 2026

Scope

This policy applies to OpenLeash Cloud subscriptions and paid OpenLeash services purchased directly from OpenLeash or through a checkout operated for OpenLeash. Private Cloud enterprise contracts, order forms, or managed services may have separate written terms.

Direct web purchases

For direct web purchases, you may request a refund within 14 days of your first subscription charge. Renewal refunds may be requested within 7 days of the renewal date when the renewed service has not been materially used after renewal. Duplicate charges, incorrect charges, and billing errors are reviewed case by case.

OpenLeash may use Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record or payment processor for direct web purchases. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, and processing time depends on the payment provider and your bank.

App Store and Google Play purchases

If you buy an OpenLeash subscription through Apple App Store or Google Play, refund requests must be submitted through Apple or Google and are handled under their store policies. OpenLeash cannot directly refund transactions where the store is the merchant of record.

Canceling a subscription

You can cancel a subscription to stop future renewals. Cancellation does not automatically refund prior charges. If self-serve billing controls are unavailable in your account, contact support@openleash.com and include the account email, organization name, and purchase reference if available.

How to request a refund

Email support@openleash.com with the account email, organization name, order or invoice number, purchase date, and reason for the request. We will review the request and reply with the outcome or any additional information needed.

Limits

Refunds may be denied for abuse, fraud, chargebacks, policy violations, materially used renewal periods, or purchases governed by a separate signed agreement. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights that apply in your jurisdiction.
